A big Building in the style of Queen Victoria in a small Latvian village lost on the fields looks magnificent. Wonderful interiors, spacious rooms, friendly personnel, good restaurant - it's a very good place either for romantic evening or business events. But note that you are very far from any civilization

The Dikli Palace is an exquisite hotel! The gardens and grounds are impeccable and rooms elegant. While the Dikli Palace is fairly out of the way, it is worth the drive. The rooms were advertised as having air conditioning, but in fact, they do not. The hotel staff relocated us to another room and provided a revolving fan, which helped.
The room we were assigned had no chair (other than a vanity stool) even though there was room for one. I had to bring two chairs up from a meeting room so that we had a place to sit.

The perfect getaway. Wonderfully renovated with utmost respect for the historical interior. Restaurant is a real treat, locally grown beef & lamb are higly recommended. The service makes you feel like you own the palace.

A beautiful place for a luxurious getaway, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, breathtaking setting! We will definitely come back!
The only details that could have improved were the mysterious plumbing - hot and cold water were switched around, and adjusting a warm shower was also a challenge...

Wonderful palace, wonderful furniture, great restaurante.
In summer, avoid the rooms facing the front of the palace because they are too hot and no air conditioning.

Stuff accomodated us by upgrading our room since they were overbooked
We understand that summers in latvia are short, but no a/c on midsummer days still is inconvinience

Very beautiful garden, interesting hotel, excellent spa.
The room was very, very hot (+32 c) and there were no air conditioning. The breakfast could be a bit richer choice, although delicious. Standard tables in the restaurant needed cleaning

This castle, I can really recommend. The service was absolutely perfect. Very good food in the restaurant. Ideally located in the countryside. Stylishly renovated, very nice rooms. Will definitely visit the castle again.
At one of our family room we had, unfortunately, share toilet and shower with one other room.
